About the Region

The Mideast region consists of nine chapters located in five states (Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Western New York, and Kentucky) and one international chapter located in Toronto, Canada. The Mideast region is one of the fastest growing regions in terms of MBA members and boast some of the most successful chapters of the National Black MBA Association. Three of the nine Mideast region chapters were named "Chapter of the Year" over the past 10 years by our national headquarters. One chapter president was name "MBA Member of the Year" by our national headquarters and all chapters have a Leaders of Tomorrow youth program. The National Black MBA Association, Inc. (NBMBAA) is a non-profit organization of minority MBAs, business professionals, entrepreneurs and MBA students. The strength of the National Black MBAA Association as an organization lies in its extensive network of our 44 professional chapters nationwide and 15 collegiate chapters. The 44 chapters are divided into five regions, including the Mideast region.

Each year, the Mideast regional chapters present the regional conference with one chapter hosting the conference in their city:
